From the Principal’s Office
January’s CLEAR Focus: We Are Committed Christians.
Dear Families,
Congratulations to all in our community for a very successful accreditation visit! Our team was so impressed with everything about our school—our students, parents, teachers and staff, pastor, and the evident Catholic identity they felt permeates our school. We were also commended for our resource management and strong action plan. I would like to thank all the parents who helped feed the team throughout the week and all those who came on Tuesday night for the potluck and meeting. The team was very complimentary about your support and vision for the school. This does not mean our work is over; rather, it is just beginning! In the coming weeks, I will be highlighting the report and our action plan in the newsletter and the action plan will become part of the important work our School Board coordinates for the future. Well done, everyone!
All families will receive materials for our Spring Fundraiser today—two boxes of chocolate and a catalogue for cookie dough and other treats. According to your tuition contract, each family is expected to sell a minimum of two boxes of chocolates or pay an opt-out fee of $50. We budget this income into our operating fund, so it is very important we reach our goal and have every family participate fully. The family who sells the most chocolate will have their $150 Capital Improvement Fee waived for the upcoming year!
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Lynne Kennedy Mullen

Summer School:
Summer school will be held June 21st –July 23rd. All current students and parishioners have first priority for signing up for summer school before we open enrollment to our neighboring Catholic schools and our neighboring community. Applications are now available in the school office. |
Enrollment Information
Enrollment Information is now available in the School Office for new students and incoming Prekindergarten Students. Application packets can also be downloaded from our web site - http://www.stleandercatholicschool.org.
Important Reminders:
Please be sure to feed your child a nutritious breakfast before sending him/her to school. If children are not feeling well, we always ask them if they have eaten and what they have eaten. Often, children tell us they didn’t have time for breakfast. Good and regular nutrition is so important to our children’s physical development and their ability to concentrate on their schoolwork. Please don’t skip this most important meal.
We love when our parents join us for prayer, but some parents talk with each other when we are praying. This sets a bad example for our children. If you must speak during prayer, please stand behind the orange cones. Better yet, please try to wait until prayer is over. Thank you for helping us start the day respectfully and prayerfully.

A hearty THANK YOU to all families who donated desserts for the St. Leander Parish Crab Feed's Dessert Auction. The auction brought in just shy of $1,000 to our parish! We greatly appreciate your time, effort & continued support!!
