November’s CLEAR Focus:  We are Effective Communicators.

Dear Families,

Happy November! I hope you enjoyed the Halloween festivities on Friday. Many thanks to the parents who dropped goodies by for the teachers—they were enjoyed by all!

Without a pause, we are rolling into our next “season” and schoolwide outreach events. We are collecting items for the St. Vincent De Paul Thanksgiving baskets, so we ask your support in providing the item your child’s class has been assigned to. Also, PTG continues to collect coats for “Operation Warm Coats.”  Boxes are placed throughout the school for your donations.

Our first trimester ends on November 20th, and report cards will be coming home on Tuesday November 24th, since we begin Thanksgiving holidays on Wednesday the 25th

Our Seventh Grade is having a blast at Caritas Creek, their weeklong Outdoor Education program. We look forward to welcoming them home on Friday.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Lynne Kennedy Mullen

Principal

We are being vigilant about requesting doctor’s notes before readmitting children to the school who have been seen by their doctor. We also continue to be vigilant about our health practices at school. We will continue these procedures for the duration of this situation until the crisis is well passed. Please understand that if you take your child to the doctor, we insist on a note of clearance before your child comes back. Remember not to send your child to school if he/she is sick. Thank you for your careful and continued attention to this important matter.

Reminders

When students are lining up in the morning or in the afternoon and are under the supervision of a teacher, we ask that parents refrain from correcting children other than your own. If you feel a behavior is unacceptable, please inform the teacher rather than take it upon yourself to correct someone else’s child. Thank you.

Congratulations!

Mrs. Del Rosario and her husband Andrew are pleased to announce that they will be welcoming their first child in April, and IT’S A BOY! That makes four boys born to our faculty and staff within the past two years! (We do have two girls as well—one to Mrs. Siino and one to be born in the spring to Mrs. Grazzini, two of our recent teachers).

Campus Cleanup This Saturday!!

Please join us for some simple but important campus cleanup projects this Saturday from 8-12, or any part of the morning you can make it. Let us know if you can help by returning the enclosed flyer by Friday.

CYO Board Planning Meeting Monday November 16th at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center. If you would like to help organize our CYO program, please attend this meeting.
